The mission for this trip reaches beyond proving he can still do all the physical activities he loves. My family has supported and been on the board of the Chicago Humane Society for generations. My grandfather was the president for 20 years and my dad now serves on the board to continue his legacy. Beyond time served, we have 3 dogs all adopted from humane societies and believe strongly in their importance ability to change the lives of both animals and their owners. Because of this, my dad is raising money for the Chicago Humane society and aiming to raise $15,000 through his journey across America
